I went to the barn as usual this morning. Next week, when I move, it will be only two walking blocks away. Since it wasn’t pouring out (like every day lately), I thought I would stop at a shop that I disovered on Instagram, @thegoodstuffjupiter.
It was a good decision
I cannot believe my luck! These are exactly what I have been looking for to showcase my china. And they had a pair!!!
I even love the white piece in the middle but will have to check the height. The carving is the special detail I have been wanting.
If you are a hard core treasure hunter, you can totally understand the feeling when you find something so perfect. of course i bought both and they will hold them until next friday.
Oh and one more thing..
I got this Swedish carved bench at auction yesterday for a song.
I’ll use this probably as-is. It has just the right patina and a neutral cushion.
I had another new place i wanted to go to, but the rain was so bad I decided to go home. I feel like i won the lottery!!
